Onboarding wizard

When a new server first opens the Phantom dashboard, a banner offers a five-step setup wizard. The wizard configures the most-asked-for settings without you having to drill into a dozen pages — moderation, logging, welcome messages, optional modules.

You can skip it at any time and configure things manually from the sidebar instead.

What the wizard sets up

StepWhat you chooseWhat it configures
1Welcome screen — no inputs
2Moderation profile (Strict / Balanced / Lax)Turns Moderation and Automod on and remembers your profile so the matching automod rules can be applied later.
3Logging channel + welcome channelTurns Logging on (every event-type defaults to your chosen channel) and Welcome on (with a sensible default greeting). Both are optional.
4Optional modulesToggles any of: Levelling, Tickets, Giveaways, Economy, Reaction Roles, Temp Channels, Suggestions, Counting.
5Review + finishApplies everything.

Behaviour

  • Per-guild state. Each Discord server has its own wizard run. Completing it on one server doesn't dismiss it on another.
  • Resumable. Close the tab mid-wizard and it picks up where you left off.
  • Re-runnable. From Dashboard → General → Guild Settings you can re-launch the wizard with the link at the bottom. Your previous answers pre-populate.
  • Non-destructive. The wizard only sets fields it owns — it doesn't wipe a welcome background you already configured, or replace your custom commands.

What the wizard doesn't do

  • It doesn't grant Discord roles or create channels for you. Pick existing ones.
  • It doesn't configure modules outside the eight listed in step 4. Those have their own dashboard pages.
  • It doesn't enable AI Auto-Assist or any feature that's not free in early access — those need explicit opt-in.

Skipping it

Click Skip the wizard on step 1, or Dismiss on the dashboard nudge. Either stops the banner from re-appearing. The setup wizard link in Guild Settings will still let you run it later.
